Good place if you need it close to the airport. 12-15 minutes walking with luggage. Basic supermarket and panini place/ bar nearby. Host answers messages in English quickly.
Basic accomodation, matress a bit hard. Other than that good choice if you need accomodation on walking distance near the airport with reasonable price.

Nice that coffee, mint tea, toothpaste, shampoo etc supplied. Cooking facilities basic, but fine - 2 gas rings and sundry pans. Didn't use the clothes washer, but would have been handy if we'd been staying for longer. Approx 10 minute walk from Catania airport departures.
Options nearby to eat out were limited. Initially noisy - building work next door, music down the road, but quiet overnight

Roberto is the greatest host! We had to reschedule our arrival on short notice due to airport strike, Roberto reacted very quickly and still came to pick us up in the midnight! The house is near the airport, only 10 min walk (there's sidewalk and even with small kid there's no problem). The neighborhood safe and quiet. The house has a nice terasse. The rooms are small but clean and functional. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. Roberto is always reachable via WhatsApp, we felt extremely welcome. Highly recommended!!
