Reethi Faru Resort - Stay 5 Nights or More and Enjoy a Free Sunset Cruise

The activities were fantastic and everyone should try them. The food at the restaurant above the sea was fantastic, especially the fish, which had a unique flavor that you won't find anywhere else. you should try it

Because the prices to travel to the island are high, the international flight was less expensive than the sea plane that was offered; this was unexpected and did not occur to me as it was my first time in the maldives.

The snorkelling and excellent service and meals and the bio-harmonious aspect of the resort.

Free water around the island, and a walk into the water jetty for older people would have been nice.

No free water and the access points to the snorkelling were not always easy due to the sinking sand. A wooden jetty with steps on one or two spots would have been nice.

Natural view is very nice. Rooms are good. But..... Refer further on the dislike section.

Our conclusion to what we experience in Reethi Faru is the Resort is not an ASIAN-Friendly place, seems we are not an important guests to you, or you may think we are not your BIG SPENDER, but we are your “The Largest 2-Bedroom Water Villas with Jacuzzi” guests! We just feel what we spend is totally NOT worth to the value. it surely was a big disappointment to all our families. What we expect is to be treated fairly without a high demand on services and attention, the simple basic treatment was not delivered! Well, there is compliment to the Water Sport team, led by Mohammed, they were approachable, sincere, patient and being helpful to attend our enquiries, good job to him and his team! First dinner we were placed at far inside hot corner. And second day morning was told to sit back can’t change table (buffet)! The last night , we went to your main Bar right beside main restaurant after dinner, we thought to have our families “get together moment” before our departure next day, when we arrived the bar, we waited more than 10 minutes to be attended, please allow me to emphasize, we were the 4th tables arrived at the deck area, then following with other tables arrived after us. The worst moment to come, our orders were not served to us after all the tables in the bar were served, we felt we were not your guests, we needed to BEG for service! We went to reception to raise our concern to the Guest Service Assistant on the poor service treatment that we encountered, he tried to make a call to “Decision Maker” and made us waited at lobby for more than 10 minutes. We gave up and walked back to our villas. No Manager personally attended to our disappointed experience, but sending us 8 cans of beers thought was the best solution for the resort to ease the disappointment!! If you are Asian, don’t go this hotel! Choose international brands that you will be treated fairly. Unfortunately, it is limited space here. You may refer google map that have my full review

Our family arrived island on Jun 13, we were impressed by the extraordinary scenery, and the rooms we booked; we are so much looking forward of our holidays starting in reethi Faru Resort. Since we bought the “Full board” packages with room & meals inclusive, we went to the “Sunset Bar”, the first F&B outlet to experience. We met the bartender at the outlet but surprisingly, we were not greeted at all with the “Unwelcome” expression & body language. We walked towards to bar counter to ask for services instead of being attended! - Not a good FIRST IMPRESSION! 1st dinner at your VAKARU main dining outlet, we entered the outlet without being greeted, supposedly and we were not asked where we preferred to sit, instead, we were led to the table prior assigned by the outlet associate behind the restaurant. We have no clue why we were asked to sit far behind the corner of restaurant, is that because of we were CHINESE, not supposed to sit at the front or centre of restaurant! Our second day of arrival, we went for our first buffet breakfast in the same Vakaru restaurant, my families were told we could only sit at the same assigned tables that was on the first night of our dinner. My family member insisted to choose our preferred tables, then the service associates only have no choice to let us do so! Again, was there any rule of your F&B stated patrons should only sit where were assigned, if you do, please show it to us to proof we misunderstand! Jun 15, #556 villas, our parents were excited in using the in room Jacuzzi, my brother called to front desk for assistance to set it up and guide us how to operate the Jacuzzi to prevent mishandling to cause damage. We called 4 times throughout the day, unfortunately, our request was not attended at all.

The whole island is amazing, food excellent, we appreciated local fresh food. Trips very well organized. The view from the water villa was amazing. We enjoyed our stay better than I expected.
