Vila Șipot - Casa Arhitecților

Die Lage der Villa Sipot ist einzigartig, in der Nähe der Schlösser Pelesch und Pelischor. Die Villa war das Wohnhaus der Architekten dieser beiden Königsschlösser, nämlich von Wilhelm von Doderer, Johannes Schultz und Karel Liman. Sie wurde in den letzten 10 Jahren von Grund auf saniert und bietet nun 7 Zimmer. Es gibt zwar kein Frühstück, aber das Restaurant "Carol I - Bierhaus" bietet ein reichhaltiges Frühstück an.

The property's has historical significance within the Sinaia royal estate and represents a unique opportunity for a truly special experience. Its location is within sight and walking distance of both Peles and Pelisor Castles. As such it is ideally located. It is also an easy walk into the town and a taxi ride is reasonable if you do not feel like walking back up the hills. The room was large comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is not served at the property but this was made clear when booking and is available from two restaurants within a couple of minutes walk.

The servicing of the property was somewhat haphazard. After our first night the bed was remade and some supplies replenished but no servicing took place after our second night and there are no on-site staff to query this with. It is possible to raise issues via WhatsApp but the instructions to do this were in Romanian as indeed were some (but not all) the instructions on how to access the property. As I understand some Romanian this was not a problem for me but could be for others.

This is by far the best option for staying close to Peles Castle in Sinaia. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and well designed.
