Location and facilities

The best quality about this property is the terrace view = AMAZING! It directly overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea. The host provided water, Italian prosecco, household basics (coffee, tea, oil, spices, etc.), and a basket of Italian treats.

The bed in the master bedroom just isn't comfortable; it is much like a futon. There is very limited hot water available; you can see the small hot water tank inside the bathroom. You need to be able to take a 5~minute shower, and limit the water pressure you are using. The shower has very limited space; don't drop anything! The floor plan is unique; you enter on the ground floor, bedrooms/bathroom are on the second floor, and the kitchen/terrace is on the top floor. I found myself coming out of the bedroom and automatically going downstairs to the kitchen, when I needed to go upstairs.

Comfortable apartment with a wonderful view of the sea and mountains. The apartment is clean, cozy and very well equipped. A great advantage is the beautifully decorated terrace, where you can eat a meal or just relax. Great location! Friendly neighborhood and close to restaurants, shops, bus stops and train station. Good public transport from the airport, to the center Palermo and to the beautiful beach in Mondello. Accommodation is awesome! Fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful terrace and sea view. What more is needed? Pleasant owner who is happy to give advice. There is a short walk to the train for 10 from the accommodation. One bedroom is large, the other is a small room, but with air conditioning. Swimming in the sea is ideal with a train, because here the entrance to the sea is further and difficult. But there were few people and the water was crystal clear.

The bed in the large room creaks, the mattress is worn and the choice of a small pillow is a mistake, there are only large ones, which may not be a problem for everyone. But I believe they will change that.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful flat. The flat was really clean and the it was well equipped. There were towels and even shampoo and sunscreen in the bathroom and a lot of utils in the kitchen. The absolute highlight is the terrace with a view on the sea. The neighborhood is friendly and you have everything you need, small Supermarktes and bakery as well as restaurants. Also the bus stop and train station is nearby. You live far from touristic venues and will explore the real life of Palermo in this area. Thanks to the host Gracia who is really friendly and kind. She made sure we have a pleasant stay.

The apartment was really lovely, had everything you could think of and wish for a self catering property. Location was great next to the restaurants and the bay Sferracavallo. The view from the upper terrace was amazing and large enough to dine as well a sit. The host was very friendly & eager to help with your needs.

The views were spectacular, the apartment was clean and private, the balconies were lovely and highly used by us, the kitchen was well stocked and clean, the host was lovely and helpful, the town is very pretty and has lots of amenities including easy train links to Palermo Centrale and the Punta Raisi airport.

The only real issue is that it could be a bit bright and noisy as you are on the main street, however the high quality shutters worked a treat to block this out

Very well situated overlooking the marina. Very clean and well equipped. Near the train station, busses and shops. Gracia was very helpful and friendly. Níice restaurants nearby. Easy to travel by train to other places.. We went to Cefalu which was beautiful.
