Your Home in Bairro Alto

A lot of useful tips were already left in the previous reviews for this apartment. It was ice-cold. The heating function in the AC was disabled :( It wasn’t very clean. The check-in experience was awkward. A lady who met us didn’t speak English and didn’t explain anything to us. It was very uncomfy that we were notified about payment in cash one day prior to arrival. And yeah, the mattresses are like from hell - too rigid.

The location was very convenient, full of bars and restaurants. More of a place for young people, but fun and easy to walk to other central Lisbon locations, as well.

The room was small but that was expected and it is quite noisy, as it stands on a street full of bars, if you are not going there to party. But bars were closing down by the time we went back home, so it was find for us.

Anbieter hat sich kurz vor Antritt der Reise plötzlich über Karte beschwert, obwohl ganz normal funktionsfähig hinterlegt. Nach einigem hin und her stornierte Anbieter von selber weniger als 24 Stunden vorher. Für mich fraglich ob Angebot überhaupt ernstzunehmen. Mir scheint es ging eher darum meine Kartennummer in einer Nachricht übermittelt zu bekommen.

The apartment is on an excellent location - perfect for people who love night life and want everything to be at their fingertips. 3 individual air condition units in each "room" and very clean and refurbished apartment.

The apartment is advertised as such for 4 people - one double bed in main bedroom and a double bunk bed in the other bedroom and so far it is true. But you have to consider the sizes of the rooms - bathroom 2 m2, kitchen 2 m2, corridor 3 m2, second bedroom 4 m2, main bedroom 9 m2, each room with doors to the others and it feels like many shoeboxes added one to another to make a 20 m2 flat, which is usually a single bedroom in regular homes. It was extra crowded for 3 people and I cannot imagine how 4 will feel. AC filters were not cleaned recently (to not say ever) and the climbing of 100 narrow stairs through which you can barely cary a suitcase was also not easily achieved. All that in mind, this is the case with most "apartments" in Bairro Alto, so not far from the rest of the offers, but you either choose space or location.

Experiencia agradável para fim-de-semana romântico. Boa condições gerais e a casa tinha tudo para nem ser necessário sair de casa. Voltarei a repetir.

O quarto é bem confortável e limpo, porém a acessibilidade a ele é péssima. Uma escada muito íngrime e degraus muito estreitos. Foi dificílimo subir e descer as minhas malas e não havia ninguém para ajudar. A responsável não respondeu a todas as minhas questões.
