Camps Bay Village - Beach View Apartments

The location

No sea view

I loved everything.the view was spectacular. Everything we needed was available. Great location.

No elevator

Check in was easy. We were upgraded to have a better sea view. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances needed. Walking distance to restaurants and beach.

The lady who welcomed us was lovely and friendly. The apartment was clean and lovely, stocked with all the necessities in the kitchen for our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The view was ok, we could see a bit of the ocean and lions head. It’s located really conveniently to shops and some wonderful places to eat and grab a drink or a coffee. Conveniently close to the beach so great for a sunset walk.

As much as it’s a great location for its surrounding shops/ restaurants and the beach - there were a lot of beggars that were rather persistent. This made walking around a bit uncomfortable, when we were trying to have a romantic walk on the beach we kept getting interrupted by multiple beggars. Other parts of Capetown we went to didn’t seem to have as much of an issue with this, so not sure what’s going on in Camps Bay. We also had people in our parking bay (that we paid for) twice- first time was an understandable mistake that the receptionist quickly dealt with. The second time we had a younger receptionist who helped us but we felt they tried to prioritize the other guest over us, maybe due to knowing them personally ? I’m not sure but it wasn’t a nice feeling as all guests should be treated and valued equally.

The view was gorgeous and the apartment stunning!
