Warm Marocan welcome, European hotel standards. Owner Kevin and manager Ibrahim are super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Kevin loves to share his knowlegde. Amazing food.

A days drive from Marrakesh through the Rose Valley took us to Bab El Atlas where we stayed for the night. A gem of a place with a view of snow capped mountains in the distance, beautifully decorated rooms with Moroccan Rugs, furniture, the small aesthetic touches all add to the experience. The food was exceptional, a set menu for dinner with delicious lamb and vegetable tagines and a desert, on the terrace, where we had some lovely Moroccan Rose and a super breakfast the next morning with local cheese(Jben), pancakes, a selection of jams and breads. Brigette, the owner , was there during our stay and she was interesting to converse with, warm and hospitable like the staff who are very well trained and they took every opportunity to make our overnight stay memorable.

The location and hospitality were world class. Thank you Brigitte for an unforgettable stay for us. I really did regret being able to stay longer for breakfast. 😊

The location and view from the rooms and the verandas? The delicious breakfast and dinner? All is perfect there. Dont miss it if you plan staying at kalaat m’gouna. We wish we stayed more…

Bab El Atlas is indeed a hidden gem. We had a fantastic stay and wished we would have stayed longer. The staff is amazing and incredibly friendly. The location is absolutely unique with beautiful views. Brigitte the owner took so good care of us. Highly recommended.

This is a perfect kasbah with a wonderful host. I think it was our favorite of the whole trip, and I hope fate brings me there again! It’s immaculately restored, extremely cozy, and the views and amenities are perfect.

The property is a true gem! Beautifully renovated in true Moroccan style with all comfort! The outside area with pool is the cherry on the cake! The hosts are beyond welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast and dinner were the best we had during our stay in Morocco! We hope to be back soon!
