Bright & modern Sussex seafront home Great views

The house was great, very bright and airy. There was plenty of room for all of us. The balcony was sunny in the morning, the garden in the afternoon so you could have shade/sun whichever you prefer. There was parking on the driveway. The hosts sent lots of helpful info before we arrived. The beach was one minute walk away, as was Paddy's Place for fish and chips on the beach. The town with restaurants and pubs was about 15 minute walk away.

Could have been a little cleaner, and some windows couldn’t open, which was a worry

Self catering. Good kitchen facilities. Great views especially on the last morning at sunrise with a fishing boat crossing the bay. It was the first day we had blue skies and our last day so a great memory.

The downstairs bed was a converted sofa bed and not at all comfortable. Fortunately the second guest came up to the top floor and found a comfortable bed for the rest of the stay. She was looking forward to using the second bathroom downstairs but we shared the top bathroom.

Nice, unfussy decor, and functional.

Pillows could be better quality.

Website is confusing and often would not work. Consequently key collection was very difficult

The location

There was damp mould on the bedroom window frames and walls and ceiling in one room. I had to wash it off. Kitchen/ cooker and equipment wasn’t clean. Table in lounge was sticky from drinks. One pan had food residue on it. Floors were very wet from mopping when we arrived at 4.Downstair shower leaked into outside hall way. House needs attention. Location was very good.
