Elly’s House

It was close to the train station so it was a big advantage for us to move from one place to another. The neighborhood was very quiet.

The beach which was close to the flat wasn't too clean, and friendly for kids.

The house is positioned in a quiet area slightly out of town, however public transport stops are 2-3 minutes away. There are several pizzerias, shops nearby and the seafront is a 10-15 minute walk. The house is split over two floors, which made it comfortable for 3 people. The terrace can be the perfect place to spend your evenings. The kitchen is very nice, pretty well equipped (excepting the cutting knives). The air conditioners worked very well and helped us a lot on hot afternoons. In terms of cleanliness, we liked the fact that all bed linen was stored in plastic bags. The host was super nice and always eager to answer any questions we had. The host left some welcome snacks for us (croissants and other sweet pastries).

The location is very far away from Bari (40 min by bus). The upstairs bathroom and shower are very small, which made it difficult to use, especially for tall persons. The lack of cutting knives missing from the kitchen.

Elly is a great host. His mother was waiting for us with the key, showed us everything.The apartment is well equipped, there is everything you need. Everything is minutes away, bakery, tobacco shop, supermarket,etc.The beach is 10min walk, the port is 30min walk. The train is also 10 minutes away.Elly was friendly and helpful all along.
