Vivi la Gran Madre

Great space for our party of 3 people. We chose it specifically for the possibility of having a bedroom and bathroom each. Clean spaces. Very comfortable beds. The neighbourhood was a little out of the centre which makes it a bit more quiet, but there can be some light noise on weekends because of the restaurants and bars around the area. Some chocolates and water provided in the fridge. Friendly, helpful and responsive host.

The parking situation on the weekend was deplorable. The fact that there is no free parking anywhere in the vicinity is disappointing although, obviously not the fault of the host. Something to be consious of, however. Tourist taxes are steep and excessive, again no fault of the host but these extra expenses add up and make you consider how much value for money you're really getting.

Viviana was a perfect host. The apartment is large, airy and comfortable. Even though it was a very hot week, we had no problems keeping cool by closing the shutters at the right times and using the fans. We found everything we needed in the kitchen for making breakfast and drinks. The location is fab, very central but in a quiet and green neighbourhood. I would return if I go back to Turin.
