Location and beauty of it all

Location was lovely and everyone we met locally were all very friendly. There is an equestrian centre next door and they were all friendly too! The decking area was a good touch and outside space food for the dogs. I was a bit worried about the separate bathroom but there is a heater towel rail which warms it up and the shower itself is amazing. Comfy bed and very cosy. Local pub, yew tree inn was brilliant. So friendly and the food was delicious. 20 min walk away. Location is very good too and central to a lot of things. Goodrich castle well worth a visit. The river is a short walk away too. We really enjoyed our stay.

You can hear the road from the location and I wasn’t overly keen on getting down from the bed but my husband didn’t have an issue and I knew about it before I arrived!

Fantastic location close to some amazing walks and attractions, lovely views. Rural and rustic but with amazing WiFi and beautifully warm and powerful shower.

Nothing. Just what we wanted. Could not fault.

Bertha was an enchanting little place, loved being there!

The quirky style of property. The peace and quiet.

I found some of the kitchen equipment to be old and could do with being refreshed. There were no teaspoons.

What a great experience our two nights provided.This converted horsebox really surprised us with how it was converted. Very comfy and cozy. The WiFi was great. And the local town of Ross on wye was beautiful. We also grabbed some lunch in Symonds yat east which was very quaint..And bath and gloucester were a short drive away and we'll worth a visit. Our hostess Annie always responded to our questions very quickly

Everything was great

Amazing location, with lovely rolling farm and countryside views. Bertha's Box is a small but perfectly formed accommodation, that is both quirky and comfortable. The facilities are well appointed and the shower especially is powerful.

Simply amazing, especially if you go in the hot season. Amazing location.

Took my 2 granddaughters age 5 and 7 during school holidays and they loved it. Really enjoyed sleeping in the bunk. All equipment you needed was available.

Outside paint work is a little tired but inside was fine.
