The Cow Shed

The space is beautiful, and the place heats up so quickly and is so cosy, we all had a lovely time.

The shower, I think its on its way out as its was very very loud and barely any pressure. I was really looking forward to a proper soak after driving from Norfolk.

Lovely setting, clean, great location. Friendly and welcoming. Home from home.

Nothing to dislike

The venue was nice enough, but unfortunately the hostess ruined the trip beyond belief. The male owner was friendly enough, coming to have a chat about how we are finding things .

I recently stayed at The Cowshed for a couple of days, hoping for some relaxation time with my family (partner, 10m twins & our dog). Sadly the female owner knocked on the door to inform us of a charge we needed to pay for taking the dog. We would have been happy to pay this, should we have known about it in advance of our booking and agreed to pay. With the daily activities of the twins and dog, we forgot to leave the cash so intended to do a bank transfer when we got home. We broke down on the way home, just 2 hours from home we broke down at 2pm and the AA got us home at 11pm! In this time I had received 3 messages from the hostess (for a £10 dog fee!). I replied the next day apologising for the oversight, explaining the events of the last day and how I would transfer the money but asked where it stated this charge that we had missed. After this I had a barrage of abuse and name calling (such as ‘cheapskate’, ‘scum’, and ‘dirty tramp’, after the first message in which she described herself as a ‘psycho’). In the space of 10 minutes I’d received 17 missed calls and 4 extremely disturbing voice messages – unprofessional does not cover it. Only the threat of getting the police involved for harassment did the bizarre phone calls and voice messages cease. Our relaxing getaway was anything but and we absolutely would NOT recommend staying at this venue. There are A LOT of beautiful holiday lets in Pembroke, do yourselves a favour and stay at one of those!

Beautiful cottage. Clean and had everything we needed. Bed was really comfy too 😄

Liked everything

Lovely place to stay took our dog too and she loved it plenty of walks to take her on and the accommodation had great fields for us to be able to use. Can't wait to come back for longer next time 😀

Creaky door handles! I think I woke everyone up going to the toilet during the night!

It was lovely, clean, quiet, just what we needed. The owners didn’t interfere at all, if we hadn’t had to call them for one small issue (not their fault) we wouldn’t have seen them. Definitely recommend to friends.
