Double room with ensuite shower room in quiet, private house

It was quite far from worthing and Arundel if you didn't have a car, but easy enough by taxi.

Nothing stands out

Lucy is the perfect host; excellent communications in the run-up to your stay and a warm welcome when you arrive; the sort of host for whom nothing is too much trouble but who also allows you space. The house itself is a spacious chalet-bungalow, set-in beautiful gardens. The en-suite guest-room (also spacious) is the only upstairs bedroom - so you really do feel as if you have a whole floor to yourself. The room is quiet and peaceful and the bed very comfortable. Everything you might hope to find (from toiletries to TV) is there and thoughtful extra touches include excellent coffee (bags), yummy chocolate biscuits and a good selection of books. Lovely views of the garden and the magnificent silver birch on the front lawn. Worth mentioning too that the house is in Salvington. close to the windmill on the southern slope of the downs so Worthing, yes, but not necessarily as we know it. Very peaceful.

There really was nothing not to like.
