Moeʻuhane Kai Beach Front Home

Location everything we wanted to do besides peal harbor was over on this side within minutes! The beach was also good sand wasn’t hot ever and we could swim right at the house until around noon!

The only down side was when leaving and trying to get out of the driveway. It is right on a blind corner.

This home was beautiful, roomy, clean, and so comfortable for our family. The view was gorgeous, it was amazing to wake up to views of the ocean directly in the backyard. We loved the level of privacy the beach area gave. The host was the most kind, caring and responsive host we’ve ever communicated with. We really appreciate her care in making this the best experience. We would feel lucky to stay here again.

To be feet from the water's edge was fantastic with unobstructed views!! Little local eateries and fresh fruit stands a few minutes drive from house. Stock up on groceries at Foodland or Sam's in Laie (3mi north) or Tamura's (1mi north). The kitchen was well stocked- you can cook anything here! The interior looks just like pages from a travel magazine!

All beach house floors are difficult to keep clean/sand free even when you take your shoes off upon entering. Could benefit from interior doormat at the front, back and a single patio door to catch sand, water. Light sleepers might not sleep well in spite of the double pane glass due to ocean waves not highway noise. The driveway is next to a highway blind spot. We parked the car parallel to lava wall and felt safe.

The fact that it sat right on the beach. We were able to open the French doors in the back and listen to the ocean.

There was, literally, nothing to dislike!

The house has everything to make you feel comfortable and at home here! The location is sincerely what dreams are made of; with your very own beachfront to walk in either direction, and beautiful sunrises. The water is not too aggressive so you can swim and wade with kids. The homeowners provide beach chairs and umbrellas for using on your trip. The beds are comfortable and cozy, the kitchen was more than stocked with items to cook and prepare food/drinks with. There was not one item I could think to add. And to top it off, the home was sparkling clean! The homeowner has truly thought of it all! The location on the island was also incredible! Short drive to the north shore, and an easy drive to access any of the south parts of the island as well. We would go back in a heartbeat! A perfect rental!

This beach house was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. The host communicated clearly and promptly throughout our stay and was attentive to any needs that came up, which made the entire experience seamless and relaxing. The home itself is decorated beautifully with a tasteful beach theme that feels both elegant and welcoming. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with high-end large and small appliances, all in excellent working order. The dishes, cutlery, glassware, cookware, serving pieces, and kitchen tools were plentiful, thoughtfully organized, and truly had everything we needed—even for preparing a full Christmas dinner. The beach is literally just four stone steps from the house. At high tide, it felt like our own private island. The beach was very swim-friendly (water shoes recommended), and the host provided snorkel gear, life jackets, boogie boards, and an abundance of thick beach towels, which was a wonderful touch. The living room featured a large sectional that comfortably seated six of us as we watched A Christmas Story on Christmas Eve—such a special memory. There were also multiple options for dining together: outside on the patio, at the kitchen table, or just inside in front of a full wall of French doors with breathtaking ocean views. This home is perfectly designed for comfort, connection, and unforgettable moments. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special beachfront experience in Hawaii.

There are very few areas for improvement, as the home was truly wonderful. One small suggestion would be to consider adding clearer guidance about using water shoes for swimming, as the beach is very swimmable but best enjoyed with them. Otherwise, everything was well thought out and met or exceeded our expectations. We sincerely appreciated the care put into making the home comfortable and well equipped.

The location was fantastic! All enjoyed being able to go out the front door and be on the beach! The kitchen was well appointed and made preparing meals easy! Appreciated the beach towels, chairs and umbrellas as it made visits to other local beaches easy! Everything was comfortable! The generous welcome basket was an extra special treat!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront house! The moment we walked in, everything felt spotless, fresh, and so inviting. The home had absolutely everything we needed, and even more than we expected! You can really tell how much care has been put into every detail. The location right by the beach is just magical, we loved waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning. The host was incredibly kind, easy to reach, and always made sure we felt comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. We didn’t want to leave and would come back here in a heartbeat!

The house was just as beautiful as the pictures, and thoughtfully stocked with everything a vacationer could need. From beach chairs, towels, toys, and a cooler to a fully equipped kitchen with sugar, spices, cooking oil, and laundry pods—every detail was considered. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mini mouthwash, razors, feminine hygiene products, and even a first aid kit. The location was perfect—peacefully removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough for a scenic drive to any spot on the island, especially the North Shore and Kualoa Ranch. Grocery stores, coffee shops, and stunning beaches were just minutes away. Kristen was an amazing host, always quick to respond to any questions. This was truly one of the best beach rentals I’ve ever booked. I highly recommend it and will absolutely return. Mahalo, Kristen, for sharing your slice of heaven in Oahu—my family and I are in love.
