Albergo Leon D'Oro

The hotel is in a central location for the city. Especially all the hotel staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and treat you like a family member, not a guest. There were also plenty of free drinks etc. The hotel's classic Italian breakfast is very sufficient. You can spend time comfortably in the hotel's cafe-bar.

Hotel rooms located above bar. Very clean. Small shower. Check-in was done at the bar. They were expecting us, as they had asked for an arrival time. All went went smoothly. Staff was very friendly. No elevator, but our bags were taken up for us! Breakfast downstairs at the bar with coffee, brioche and juice was perfect for us and again staff was very friendly. Nice downtown area with everything you would need. We did not eat in any restaurants as we were visiting family.

Without a readily identifiable /designated reception area, “checking in” proved to be a bit of a challenge…but easily resolved with the assistance of the friendly cafe staff! Theresa is amazing! Thank you!
