"Very nice and cosy place in Skopje, but bring cash."

The apartment is wonderful, very clean and comfortable. The owners truly pay attention to every detail. The building was nice and we had a garage space, which was a huge plus.

They did not put info on Booking that they do not receive credit cards. We booked the non refundable option, so we had another reason to assume that we could pay with a card. We travelled all the way from Turkey to Skopje, and contacted the owners about info regarding the key, etc (before we arrived) and they did not inform us about the payment. Only after we arrived in the evening (tired as hell) they asked us to give them money. We then asked them what the procedure was (how to give them cash) and whether they wanted euros or local currency, but they did not answer the question, just showed up at the door 20 minutes later. One would assume that sharing a bloody country for 45 years would make a conversation smooth, but obviously not. I was furious yesterday, but now I am ok . We will know for the next time. Or, better we will travel by plane and avoid all uncomfortable situations.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It feels like being in your own place. Many cafés around and a few supermarkets, bakeries etc. City centre at a walkable distance

Everything. All you need is right downstairs, there's parking and a very cozy balcony.
