This place is a little slice of heaven, waking up to the views of the fields from the cosy pods was a delight each morning. We loved BBQing on the fire pits and having the well equipped kitchen for prepping, just remember to bring all your crockery and cutlery! Diana and her husband were so generous with little extras to make sure we had a relaxing and stress free stay. It’s quite a way from any shops so it’s a relief to have regular comms from hosts.

Nothing - the only niggle is the noisy sheep and cows but that’s all part of the countryside experience!

Clean and well organised with good facilities

Stayed for 1 night with two of my grandchildren aged 8 and 9. We all loved it. We had a bbq and breakfast in the open air shed.Managed to sleep all night.We had a double bed and a single.

We had a bit of trouble finding the pod,travelling from the show at Builth Wells as it is in a very remote area!!

The location is fabulous, so out of the way but only 30 minutes to Builth Wells for the royal welsh or Hay on Wye. Keep an eye out as you get nearer, there are a couple of hand written signs to guide you which we found really helpful. The views are fabulous and I'm sure you could base yourself there for walks and cycling. The pod we had was cosy and the camp beds ideal. Shower facilities and toilets were great too, and a separate place to hang up wet things, although luckily we didn't need it. The outside eating and cooking area was lovely, with wood provided for open fires, and a bbq outside with charcoal available 2 fridges, a microwave, hotplate and kettle, 2 sinks and running hot water. I would really recommend Ty Grug, and if you rented the 3 pods with friends or family you could have the place to yourselves.

We loved our stay at Ty Grug Pods. We were visiting the Hay festival and it made a perfect base away from the crowds. The views from our pod were amazing, such a peaceful location. The pods provided a bit more warmth and comfort than camping and it was great to have an outdoor kitchen to use. We'd love to come again and thought how good it would be to come with other friends or family and hire out all the pods.

It’s the best place to visit with friends and family. So comfortable and relaxing place. You can do bbq and bon fire provided every facility. Good wifi network as mobile signals are not working but you can get internet when you are at the property which is the good thing. I will definitely come back soon with another trip. Worth it. And owners were so good and provided every support we need. Clean toilets and comfortable pods.

I like everything here and it’s worth it.

These pods are in a lovely location with some great views and easy access for walks around the area. Nice attention to detail on the cleanliness of the bathrooms and all areas.
