The staff we exceptionally accommodating. We didn't bring any bedding along so they provided it for us which was lovely. The views were also incredible!

"Good"

7.0

Very kind family who fed us as we had not made provision for food.

Need to have the location information and need to bring essentials like bedding right on top of booking information or at least in direct messages from the owners. Providing teabags and sugar and milk would have been good.

"Peaceful and relaxing."

9.0

Three pods tucked away in the hills of Monmouthshire. Quiet, tranquil, only disturbance the call of birds & cry of sheep. Utterly beautiful location. Di, the host, is exceedingly helpful.

"Adequate for purpose..."

8.0

The location, if you are looking for solitude and being in nature with spectacular views.

I was expecting a glamping-type experience instead it was basic camping but in a hut and not a tent. All the ingredients for an excellent camping experience are there - but the implementation is lacking. This is a working farm and the animals come first as they should, but that doesn't help paying guests. Car parking is tricky, especially in the wet - there is a steep slope to navigate when leaving the carpark which is shale but overgrown so wheel spin is likely.

Fantastic isolated location. Di & family were lovely. Freedom. Facilities were great. (One or two comments I won't post here = it was great overall.)

"Pleasant enough but very overpriced."

6.0

Fantastic location & scenery

We had to bring everything. Bedding sleeping bags food pots and pans crockery cutlery. Just a glorified camp site at an exorbitant rate. Pods at youth hostels offer a better experience at 50-60% of the price (all above included)

"Escape from urban environment to fantastic views"

9.0

The location is fantastic. You have an amazing view outside your window, and getting there is quite scenic as well. We were welcomed, and the host made sure we had all the necessities with us - we didn't, and she helped us sort it out, borrowing us sleeping bags and pillows. Nearby there are sheeps with lambs, spotted some horses. Great escape if you like camping style vacation but don't like tents or busy caravan area.

As it is a remote area, roads are very narrow and with potholes. It didn't throw us, since there is almost no traffic.

"Superb"

9.0

Beautiful location, the pod was comfortable with a handy heater. There was also a shared kitchen area with a microwave, fridge, kettle and hob and seating area with firepits. It was also great to have our own allocated bathroom. Really good facilities. It's a 20 min drive from hay on Wye through some beautiful countryside. Bring cutlery and crockery with you. 😊
