The beautifully central Flat 3 The Cobourg Tenby Sat to Sat booking only in school summer holidays

Location in centre of town allowed easy walking to places of interest. Being surrounded by city walls added to ambience. Great food at Italian restaurant a few doors down. Town has lively feel, lots going on and friendly faces everywhere.

Shower seal needed cleaning. Couch a bit tatty but still comfortable.

The location cannot be beat. The layout of the flat was perfect for our group of two couples. Laundry was helpful.

Location was brilliant, a short walk to the town, pubs and shops and a few minutes walk to the beach. Parking under the apartment was useful and a bonus. Apartment was clean and warm. . The apartment is spacious and well furnished (I've read other reviews that criticise the sofa but it was practical enough, especially as there were 5 adults in our group). We all found the beds comfortable too. Would definitely consider rebooking if returning as a large family group or for a weekend away with friends.

Only minor criticisms, no where to hang up coats (it was a damp weekend so would have been useful). I couldn't find a bread knife and the extractor fan in the kitchen didn't seem to work.

The location is perfect - it's quiet, yet right in the centre of Tenby, very close to good pubs and a lovely bakery, and 4 mins walk to a supermarket. The view of the walls from the balcony was worth sitting outside with a coffee in February for! Car parking in such a central place is almost unheard of, so that facility is very valuable (drive slowly or you'll miss the entry and have to go round the one-way again. Reversing in is probably a better option, especially if there's a car in the bay opposite, and a smaller car is definitely an advantage!) The flat was warm and welcoming on entry, there's a good sized fridge-freezer and a huge TV, laundry facilities are excellent, and the kitchen is well stocked with utentils, crockery, etc.

The property is great to stay in, but goodness, you're put off before you reach that stage. First, you can't just book it. You have to wait for your booking application to be accepted. Then even if you pay more for a refundable option, the money is still required a month before the stay. We were on a tour, and in every other location we stayed, we could have got a full refund up to a few days before arrival, so this property is definitely an outlier in that regard. A similar outlier - "on account of the need for a deep clean during CoVid" check in 16:00 and check out is 10:00. We didn't see a cleaner itching to start at 10:00, nor was anyone carrying mops out of the place at 4pm. Maybe this check in time needs to be reconsidered, especially during winter months when 4pm is a bit late. A week before you arrive, you're sent a 2-page A4 list of instructions. The first page is helpful, on how to find the place and get in. The second page starts "only a couple of things" after which there are 12 separate do's and don't - mostly don'ts - some of which are out of date anyway ("put bedding a bag to avoid the cleaner having to handle it" but there's no bag). All of these could be conveyed on a simple sheet of instructions in the property. As others mentioned in reviews some time ago, some wear and tear issues remain unaddressed but these don't detract from the visit. Once you arrive, it's a great place :-)

The apartment was beautiful, bright, spacious, modern and spotlessly clean, nice fresh bedding, beautiful thick fluffy towels. Everything there that was beeded plus more. Safe parking for the car and central to everything. It was perfect and will definatley be booking again 😊.

Wish we could have stayed longer.
