Nice apartment in a cute little neighborhood.

Very close to the airport! You also have the whole garden apartment so lots of space. I had a super last minute booking due to flight being rerouted and the host was still able to pick me up for a lesser fee than uber or Lyft with literally like 30 minutes notice. I left too early in the AM for a ride back and the Lyft was only 25 bucks, pre scheduled, so still a good spot to get back to the airport. Host was very communicative and I felt safe being a solo woman traveler.

Lots of narrow stairs down and up. Was hard with my luggage but the host did bring it down for me on the way in!

Miad’s place is spacious and well-appointed for a short stay. It’s apparent Miad cares about his guests comfort and goes out of his way to make sure your stay is pleasant.

Since we only stayed one night, it was perfect for us. For a longer stay, a couple of more towels would be great, but I’m confident Miad would provide them if asked.

The cost per night, the size of the apartment, and the friendliness of the proprietor.

The parking was on the street was across from the property, and the entire street on both sides were full of cars. The apartment was in the basement with steep narrow stairs that made it a challenge for getting any large luggage down the stairs. The shower floor did not appear clean, however, we did not realize this rental was someone's full time residence, so it may have just been worn. The window air conditioning unit in the bedroom helped tremendously in muffling the constant air traffic. Having said this, we understand that expectations in New York may be different than in other areas of the US. You do get a lot of space for the money.

Located in a quiet neighborhood close to JFK Airport. Large, exceptionally clean, very well appointed and stocked apartment, comfortable bed, very big full kitchen, excellent shower - better than most hotels at a much better price. Very kind, responsive and helpful hosts who personally picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for just $20 each way. Would highly recommend and definitely return! 10/10

A second bedside table and lamp would be nice and a grab bar in the shower would be a great safety addition.
