The 24h reception for our very late check in, the manager's kindness and discount on the phone, and the fact they take wave.

The room did not seem to have been cleaned recently, with dust especially in the kitchen. Mirror wasn't clean. Towels just for one. No welcome water. Stained pillow covers and towels. The shower completely overflooded the bathroom. No comms on time for breakfast etc. Key didn't work. The restaurant at the top (and the rest of the hotel) was VERY hot and A/C wasn't working. Stale bread and potatoes that felt soaked in oil from the day before for breakfast. I've had so much better service in simpler and less pretentious hotels/lodges.It feels if you want to brand as a high end hotel you have to step up your service and facilities.
