Central Windsor 2 bedroom flat with free parking

Location is great for Windsor town centre. Host is very helpful and responds quickly. Comfortable beds and sofas. Good wifi reception.

A goog place to stay with kids as it's very close to Legoland.

The only downside is dealing with the hot shower water.

My husband and i were sleeping on the sofa bed. The sofas need replacing the property is supposed to be for 6 people but the sofa bed was really bad really uncomfortable, also there wasn’t enough utensils, knives and forks not enough for 6 people. The shower was fine but the issue was you couldnt get it to the right temperature so would either be too cold or too hot or just had a mind of its own what temperature it wanted to do.

Parking space at front property is very small and would need marked with number for the property.

Clean accommodation. Quiet area. Free parking and WiFi. Close to town centre. Easy to contact host. Have stayed here before and will do so again.

Location was excellent & In a nice area. Flat was spacious enough for 3. Board games were a nice addition.

We specifically booked this accom as it said it had air conditioning, it did not, which made our stay uncomfortable given the heat over last few days. A little difficult to find. Flat had an odd smell. Mould/ damp issues in bathroom. Neighbours upstairs were quite noisy which made sleeping difficult. Parking space is more suitable for bike rather than a car. Bin was too small for amount of rubbish we had over 3 days. Shower handle broken so couldn't be adjusted. Towels were rough. Beds were basic but ok.

I don't usually leave reviews, but unfortunately this apartment was a complete let down. From the moment we walked in, you were hit with the smell of damp - so much so that there were 2 dehumidifiers running in the rooms and all the windows open. Cleanliness was seriously lacking. The bathroom had mold, and the floors were grimy. There was a weird orange slime growing between the bathroom tiles. But the low point for us was a bizarre, suspicious, brown looking stain, right in the corner of the small bedroom, that had a horrible lingering smell, that we really didn’t want to think too hard about! We had to contact the host just to get the cleaners back in, which was awkward and honestly should never have been necessary. The host was responsive when we contacted them, but to be told they required more time for our check-in was not the answer. This wasn't just mess and grime from the previous guests. This was months of the property not being cleaned properly. On departure, we couldn't fit our rubbish in the bins as they were overflowing. This was not the standard of accommodation we were expecting, and it definitely didn’t feel hygienic or welcoming. I would strongly advise avoiding this property until the host addresses these serious cleanliness and maintenance issues.
