Clean, comfy, tranquil and perfect location

Nothing but wish we had some food for the rooster and his duck entourage!

Peaceful getaway, waking up to the ducks outside our door was lovely. Toilet/shower block being heated was a lovely unexpected bonus 😊

The peaceful location and homely feel around the whole place. The independence or being free and reality combination was great and just wonderful to be outside :)

What an amazing place to stay such a hidden gem couldnt have asked for anything better, a lot of hard work put in to it and the hosts were so lovely will definitely be back!!

Beautiful location with clear views over the rolling hills and sheep fields. Shepherd huts are tiny and we love their simple style. The kitchenette was adequate to make breakfast and included a small fridge and two burner stove top.

The booking indicated a private bathroom, but in reality it is a walk across the farmyard to a shared bathroom. Private if you set a quaint little sign to 'in use' - but that felt like a generous interpretation. There is no plumbing in the shepherd hut so have to carry dishes to the bathhouse too. No big deal and we were fine with that, just that the expectation from the wording on the website did not make that set up clear to us.
