Top of the Rock Glamping

Stunning location, fabulous accommodation. Local farm produce and bbq equipment available for purchase on-site (on the pricier side however as it is locally sourced). Cabin well equipped with a small fridge, microwave, kettle, tea/coffee facilities with cutlery and mugs, and a lovely little electric fire for when the chill set in. Private bathroom had shower/sink/toilet. Towels supplied. Overall very clean given the working farm location. Nearby there are places to eat (recommend the Red Lion only a 2 min drive/10 min walk away). Julia was very helpful and welcoming. There are information sheets in the cabins also with useful numbers/instructions for the cabin and nearby points of interest. No Wi-Fi at the property - for us this was a bonus! A true getaway to the Welsh countryside.

Torrential rain on the night we stayed (not the fault of the host obviously!!!) however rain water did pool into the cabin from under the door which made for some surprise wet socks getting out of bed. A minor issue fixed by some towels and the electric fire! Another minor gripe was the bedding situation. Recommend taking a pillow from home if you - like us - can't sleep with just one, as only one is provided. Duvet was also quite thin, but electric fire made up for that.

Beautiful views. Comfy bed. Peace and quiet. Privacy - as our hut was not overlooked and had a whole field of its own in front. Our charming host Guy had not only built the lovely shepherd’s hut, he had cut down the trees and milled the timber for it too.

Beautiful view, comfy bed and welcoming owner. Lovely to have a designated field for our dogs. Parking was next to the property. We had a pleasant walk to the village pub where everyone was very friendly. Plenty of phone signal and 4G.

Shower went cold after a few minutes but could be solved by turning it off and on again.

Lovely getaway for one night stay for me and my partner , it has everything we needed - peace and quiet , lovely weather , comfortable bed with nice view , friendly owner. We will definitely come back. Location is also very good , not far from Hafren forest with amazing walk patch , view and peace
