The location is very close to a sandy beach that you can reach with a 5' walk. The house is well furnished and the owners made their best to help us (they even brought us fruits and a cake) although they do not speak English

The car is needed as the house is isolated, but you can reach the nearest village in 10/15'. The size of the flat is limited, but we managed to sleep in 5 without big issues

Everything at the property was excellent. The couple there were very kind. They give to us cookies and wine for welcome and also when we left. The house is very clean and the best thing is that in every room there is air conditioners. The garden is very large and there is a summer kitchen where you can do BBQ.

It's a little house with a big front yard and has two apartments only, run by a pleasant older couple (so it's not intended for mass tourism, since there can not be plenty of guests and it's not crowded). The hosts are very nice and friendly, always ready to help you in any way. They welcomed us with a smile...and also with a bottle of wine and cookies 😊 (Best regards to them). We stayed for two weeks in the larger, ground-floor apartment with two bedrooms (one with a double bed, and one with two single beds) and one big main room (with a sofa and kitchen). The apartment had a very large terrasse with a tend, so it could comfortably accommodate many people. The apartment is clean, with airconditioning in every room and well-equipped with new furniture and appliances...we were even surprised with things we never found in any apartment we have ever stayed in - we had a clothes washing machine, iron, vacuumer...also a first-aid kit, body thermometer, and disinfectant lotion. Small things like table and room decorations and candles, give it a special touch and a homelike feeling. In the yard, there's a common roofed space with tables, a washbasin, and barbecue equipment (one gas grill and one grill for wooden fire), which can be used by all guests. The driveway access is paved with white gravel and there is space to park 2-3 cars. There are nearby villas also, but they are reasonably distant. The house itself is surrounded by nature and trees - a forest is stretching behind the house). The nearest beach is in reasonable footwalk distance (~5-10 min. walk), and there's no need to cross the main road - there is a passage under it, in front of the yard. It's a big sandy beach, mostly occupied with sunbeds by two or three beach bars and a little bit of space as a free beach. All in all, we had a very cozy, pleasant, relaxed, and enjoyable stay, feeling welcomed.

What we didn't like was not up to the apartment or the hosts themselves - apparently, on the weekends, there are ongoing beach parties in the beach bars at the nearest Palliuri beach, and it can be a little bit loud with mixed and overlapping music if you are staying in the open at the apartment (and unpleasantly louder on the beach itself). It's also very crowded on the (same) beach in high season. But after all, it's nothing to worry too much about if you do mind this - parties stop at 23:00, so the nights are quiet, and during the day, you can take it as an 'excuse' (and suggestion) to visit and explore other near beaches, which are also nice and beautiful. To mention again - it is only an issue during the weekends in high season. There is also a little bit of disturbance by the traffic on the main road that passes in front of the property, but it is not very noticeable and annoying, because there is not as much traffic as on the upper part of the peninsula and the large space of the yard acts as a buffer zone...for sleep and rest it's not disturbing at all, since the bedrooms are located on the back side of the house.

The house is wonderful and a lot of work has been put into building and maintaining it. Everything is with good taste and fully functional. The hosts are very welcoming and kind.
