"Horrible drilling and banging noises - no rest here!"

Location good room clean
Building work going on very noisy, horrible banging and screeching drilling noises unbearable. Complained but was told nothing they could do about it but it would stop at 5.30. It did but started again before 7am next morning. We would have left but the staff were very young and did not seem to care and we thought we probably wouldn’t get a refund. Very bad that the building work was not mentioned in the information then we could have chosen whether or not to stay. Very disappointed we did not enjoy the stay one bit.
