Sweet Magnolia 1 or 2 BR Suite St Kilda Cambridge with Complimentary Continental Breakfast

We had high expectations when we arrived at this property, and our first impression was excellent. The location is convenient, not far from Cambridge town center, in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. The landlord was very friendly and welcoming, and the 2-bedroom suite was tastefully decorated and furnished. However, after our stay, we felt there were areas for improvement, especially given the price point.

Noise Levels: The property is located near a main road, which results in noticeable traffic noise, particularly late at night and early in the morning. Additionally, the soundproofing within the property could be improved, as the wooden walls between rooms allow noise to travel. The placement of the toilet water tank near the first bedroom added to the disturbances at night. Kitchen Facilities: The kitchenette is more like a pantry, with limited equipment and ventilation. While we appreciated the continental breakfast provided, cooking even a simple meal like fried eggs with ham was challenging due to the not non-stick quality of the frying pan and the exhaust fan’s efficiency. The dining table was also a bit small for a group of four. Living Space: The living room, while charmingly decorated, felt a little crowded for a group of four especially due to the abundance of decorative items.

Exceeded my expectations, the owner is super nice, the property is well maintained.

Beautiful stay. When booking in the future for work travels, will definitely be booking this place. Everything was immaculate, down to the lamp shades and mirrors. The cutlery was polished to perfection. Bedding was superior, just absolutely beautiful. Out of the many places we have stayed, this is up there for cleanliness! Spacious bathroom, very welcoming layout and colours. Loved the use of colours and interior. Great location. Excellent parking, we had our work colleague pop in for a few minutes and a 2nd vehicle fit easily. Thanks for our gorgeous 1 night stay.

The sheets!!!! The bath, the instructions, the coffee, the decor!

The property was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a lovely big bath and gorgeous walk in shower. There was a little kitchen with everything we needed and a nice Continental breakfast. The location was a little out of town and very quiet.

This s our third time staying. Everytime everything is absolutely perfect. Clean, quiet and comfortable
