"As someone with asthma this stay put me in a precarious situation b/c of the mildew (and smell)"

The room smelled very badly of mildew and air freshener upon entry of the room (presumably trying to cover the smell). The bed sheets were damp. alerted the staff first thing in the morning after our first night but they were unable to move us to another room as the hotel was fully booked. Staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating. When we returned to our room later that evening on our second day there was a dehumidifier in the room and the tank was full and I had to empty the dehumidifier into the toilet. The next morning the tank was full again. All 3 of the travelers woke up feeling sick...sore throats, headaches and nasal congestion. Our clothes and luggage smelled very badly of mildew.

Breakfast was very good. Location was convenient but restaurants were at least 2 miles away.

People next to me and above were playing music at 3:30 and woke me up early. When there’s not that many people why place someone directly above or next to someone?
