Nice location. Quiet area. Very clean and well presented.

Primary Issue: This property is unsuitable for disabled or infirm people due to total absence of safety rails in the bathroom. Bath was brilliantly clean and therefore slippery. No bath mat was available and so both myself, my wife and my son were unable to use the shower or bath. Luckily we were on a short stay. As an aside, there was the constant reminder of liability in the event of not leaving the property exactly as found. Messaging regarding this was excessive, and forceful reminders aplenty. This made us feel uncomfortable and not wanting to use kitchen equipment. We ate out and did not cook. I can only say that the owners must have had very unpleasant experiences with some previous guests.

A bit of a distance from resort

The bed was wonderfully comfy - being poorly and spending most of the week in bed it made a lot of difference. The property is well equipped for preparing food which isn’t always the case in self catering. (The words are a clue but hosts mostly expect you will eat out) loved the coffee table action ! We opened it up to bring drinks nearer without losing legroom. The location is good. Not far from the town and the long seafront/ beach. Lots to do in short car trips. Parking for more than one car and safe bike storage. Garden has bbq, furniture and even a summer house. Bungalow very spacious. We are intending to book next year.

Not dislikes. Just a couple of suggestions to make things even better. Agree with other reviews that the lounge seating could do with upgrade. We were only 2 and so managed on settee. Armchairs really uncomfortable if you aren’t a very small person. Sofa curved and not best for 3. Plenty of cushions so we made it comfortable for us. In the king bed bedroom there is nowhere with a mirror, plug and light. Plug miles away from mirror for hairdryer. Mirror in dark corner. Easily solved ! Change chest of drawers with the little unit in corner, add a light - and somewhere to sit to do hair is provided ! Also a bin in bedroom would be good. One dislike - The people before us hadn’t cleared their dogs poo from garden. Host - worth checking as it’s not very nice to have to do that on arrival.

The settee was not the comfiest could do with replacement

Bungalow was spotless and not too far out of town. Lovely and peaceful.

No cupboard for groceries. All cupboards in the kitchen had crockery or glassware. No waste bins apart from kitchen. Too many cushions!!

I was freezing cold in the evenings and mornings didn't know how to put heating on as its different to ours but I managed to work out the fire on our last night it was on for about an hour I went to bed then and it was further away from centre than i Thought

handy location, property itself had everything you could need.
