Beautiful 2 bedroom with patio and amazing views

The location is perfect for the town centre, but beware of old steep steps down into the town and up onto School street. The views from the lounge and balcony are extremely nice, looking straight across the town and across the many older buildings. At the same time these steps give 'easy' access to the town's shops, cafe's and pubs which was very nice.

Maybe this is one of the problems of the property being 'pet friendly', although we haven't come across it before, but the stairs carpet and the carpet all the way into the lounge and across the lounge was absolutely filthy, with soil and other stains everywhere, and would benefit from either a really good clean, or replacement of the whole carpet. Above the staircase there was an enormous spiders web running from the window wall and running across the ceiling for a good three to four feet, this had obviously been there for a good length of time. The bathroom/toilet door opening directly into the lounge was a strange 'quirk' but may just be because of the layout of that part of the building.

Very clean accommodation and location is great for the town centre.

Uneven driveway to the accommodation

This is a very well equipped property with a wonderful view of Hebden Bridge. The access, although tight, allowed you to park immediately outside the property. The location was very central to the town centre and train station. Overall, it was a very cosy place to stay.

Nit picking here but a washing machine would have been nice. Also the carpet and walls were, although clean, a little stained but as we had two small dogs, this was not an issue. Reversing up the driveway is not for a non-confident driver but we were given good advance notice from the owners. There was a lot of stomping about from above that could be heard in one of the bedrooms.

Central location, lovely size and beautifully decorated and provisioned.

Reversing the car back down the street, otherwise it’s wonderful.
