Hotel Boutique La Marquesina - Adults Only

Loved the location, close to the music square -though not so good if you want an quiet night.. it was lovely going to sleep hearing the music and people enjoying themselves. Loved the views, very comfortable bed. Extremely clean. We don't like a lot of 'stuff' in a hotel room (useless throws, multiple cushions that never get washed, constantly put on the floor out the way, then back on the bed - Big Yuk etc) this room met the brief completely. However....

While they got the soft furnishings in terms of useless dust collecting items that no one wants absolutely spot on... they did rather omit some useful items, like a shelf in the bathroom, and somewhere to unpack suitcases on... its been around multiple grubby airports, handled by multiple people - who wants that on their clean bed to unpack? - not me for sure. Yet getting down and doing it on the floor isn't easy either! Perhaps a rack to put the suitcase on?? The space where the tea/coffee making was very small, cramped and not very useful, but in the absence of a shelf in the bathroom, had to double up as a vanity unit too... all in all, just not quite enough 'infrastructure'! No chair in the room either... which meant that we could only lay on the bed or sit on the balcony... just lacked a bit of comfort for us.

The location, the staff, the rooms, the view both from the rooms and the rooftop pool. The bar/restaurant downstairs is good too. Literally nothing bad to say about the hotel. Our 3rd visit to the hotel, we simply love it.

The hotel is in the centre of the old town surrounded by restaurants. The views of the beach and sea are wonderful great for people watching from the balcony.

Can be noisy at night because of location. Sun beds at pool really uncomfortable.

Location is just amazing, at the heart of the old town facing the beach and the lagoon on the one side and the marina on the other. Great boutique hotel with the rooftop pool and the restaurant on the floor level. All variety of pubs, restaurants, tapas bars and so on just by your doorstep.

Just keep in mind that you’ll hear all the live music from the locals nearby and the waves of the ocean. For us it was just amazing. All those sounds right at our balcony every evening - a private concert :) but it’s not a quiet place nevertheless.

Everything is simple and amazing. We will be back.

How loud the live music was when we went to bed. Iv stayed in hotels next to loud music and there balcony door was far more superior at blocking the sound out. Even the people we coulple hear.
