"Modern, clean, quiet, and close"

Close to the train station, and in Leiden that means being within walking distance of all city-center attractions. And there is a working windmill just out the front door

"Perfect"

Close to train station and easy pleasant walk into centre of town. Nice Cafe 50 metres down the street. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a coffee machine.

Nothing to dislike.

Everything was perfect. Apartment is clean and spacious, well equipped kitchen. Great location: everything is about a five minute walk

It would be nice to have some shower gel in the bathroom

Very close to town, clean and spacious -excellent for a couple. Lovely bed and shower. Washing and cooking facilities excellent.

Apartments being built behind meant noise early on weekdays.

My wife & I take 5-6 breaks a year in apartments booked with Booking.com, airbnbn etc. This apartment is probably the best that we have ever stayed in. It is in a great location, around 5 minutes walk from the railway station and close to restaurants, supermarkets etc, including an excellent Thai restaurant (called Sisaket) around 3 minutes walk away. It is in a picturesque row of houses, facing a lovely canal & a working windmill. Everything was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable & tastefully decorated & furnished. The owner has clearly gone to a great deal of effort to ensure that guests have as positive an experience as possible. There is a folder inside the apartment which has comprehensive useful information & so there was little need to contact the owner during our stay. On the one occasion that I did, she replied very quickly with an answer to my question. When visiting Leiden in the future, if this apartment is available at the time, It will very definitely be our preferred option.
