The Blue Eco Lodge

We LOVED Blue Eco Lodge!! I recommend that everyone stays here when visiting Valladollid. Ayhdel and Harry run a fabulous place which is extremely comfortable, homely and well located. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order with lots of options and home grown fruit juices and jams. Try the mango Jam! They organised some great trips for us to Chitchen Itza and Rio Lagartos. we fell in love with their dogs too. And the icing on the cake were the wonderful watermelon margaritas. What more could we want! it was perfect. thank you! 🙏

Room not too big, but very cozy and clean - especially the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, Wifi worked ok. Everything was as described, including the location which is a bit outside of the city. Harry was very helpful, and we enjoyed staying in his place.

We had a great time at Eco Blue Lodge. The room was spacious and well equipped; Harry and his wife prepared a delicious breakfast, with home-mane jam, tasty fruit and very nice cakes. Harry is British, so the tea was as it should be ! A special mention for Bruce, their playful dog, that has always a plenty of energy and makes this Lodge unique. There is a very beautiful swimming pool, that we had not enough time to use: but next time...

Both the place and the hosts are outstanding! You feel at home from the moment you enter the property. The hosts Harr and Aihdel helped as so much with recommendations, arranging trips, short notice requests and support in finding a doctor & pharmacy for our sick baby. The place is super cozy and provides a tranquil experience!

There is a small thing worth mentioning just to have the expectations clear: The kitchen in Harry's house is not for common use by guests, even though the Booking.com description and pictures would suggest that. However, Harry helped us out swiftly whenever we needed some equipment to prepare food for our baby.

It’s conveniently located for travelers that plan to move around the east part of Yucatán AREA (Cab fares to downtown are 100 MXP.). At the same time the property exudes an overall tranquile atmosphere, amazing garden with fruit trees, birds singing and even chickens.

Very clean, secure parking, quiet location with a beautiful garden. The room was immaculate, bed very comfortable, shower powerful and plenty of hot water. Harry and Edel (the owners) were very friendly and helpful - Harry kept in touch with useful information even after we moved on from the property and we felt very privileged.

Nothing - it was perfect.

During our 3 nights stay we loved: place's tranquility, Ahidel & Harry (hosts) hospitality, tasty breakfasts (fantastic bread, mandarin juice), super clean room with very comfortable king-size bed. Additionally, Harry arranged for us a hustle-free Chichen Itza personal guide trip and provided a ton of very useful information and recommendations about the local attractions. Overall our experience with Blue Eco Lodge exceeded by far our expectations.
