The Artist's House

Used as a base for a charity event. Very close to the station so ideal. Short walk to the beach and shops. Ideal for what I needed for.

Took a while for the hot water to come through for the shower but its a minor thing.

We had a wonderful stay at Artist's House in Scarborough. The house is beautifully styled, comfortable and full of character. As an artist and potter, I particularly loved learning that artist Paul Marny once stayed here, which added an extra layer of interest and inspiration to our visit. The location is excellent – just a short walk to both the town centre and the beach, making it easy to explore everything Scarborough has to offer. The house itself is tastefully decorated, well equipped and felt like a real home from home. I would happily recommend Artis House to anyone looking for a stylish and ideally located place to stay in Scarborough, and I would certainly stay again.

The only minor downside was that there is no air conditioning, and during our visit the house became quite warm, particularly in the hotter weather. However, this did not detract significantly from our overall experience.

Lots of space, comfy beds, nice and peaceful. Great location for South Cliff, the train station and nearby cafes and shops.

The flat was very comfortable and clean. Furnishings were modern and in good condition. The kitchen was well equipped. It was very convenient for our visit to the Spa Theatre for the performance of ‘A Beautiful Noise’’

Bed seemed on small side. There could have been more hooks for hanging dresses etc and maybe bedside cabinets for storage instead of shelves !!

Modern interior, I needed to work whilst there and the set up allowed me to do this comfortably. We had our dog, the garden was perfect. The property itself is stunning. We had a really lovely time and will definitely be back ❤️

Easy access and good instructions Plus information from hosts was vey useful and the bag of welcome bits !

Location was perfect. Very compact, stylish, clean.

Nothing really. A shaver point in the bathroom would have been useful to charge electric toothbrushes and shavers (if staying longer than a couple of nights).
