Location is excellent - right in front of the beautiful beach. Our private villa had its own pool too

The food at the restaurant was average

Great location and good price. Service was okay.

Room was rundown with older mattresses. The second floor construction seemed rushed I.e. like a lower star hotel. Food quality wasn't up to par to Taru Villa levels.

Meilleure expérience de notre voyage c’était cet hôtel. Toutes parfait. On était vraiment triste de quitter cet hôtel. Les personnels adorables surtout surtout le manager Lahir. On a été très gâté vraiment.

Loved the location, privacy and boutique relaxed feel. It felt like a private villa! The staff were excellent and service fantastic. It was our honeymoon and they made a beautiful cake for us - so so kind.

el desayuno es bueno y la localozación es expectacular. Está retirado de restaurantes para salir a cenar pero un tuktuk te acerca por un módico precio. La oferta para cenar es limitada pero el alojamiemto está muy bien cuidado y te hace sentir como en una película de principios del siglo XX. Volveré cuando vuelva a Sri Lanka y lo aconcejaré. Espero que las lluvias del pasado fin de noviembre respeten vuestra forma de vida.

We spent four nights at Taru Villas and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is truly exceptional — always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Lahiru helped my husband organise a surprise for my birthday, and when I fell ill, the team supported us with genuine care. If you’re looking for real relaxation, this is the perfect place. It’s set on a quiet, long, stunning stretch of oceanfront. There isn’t much around, but that’s exactly what makes it such a special and peaceful destination. Highly recommended for anyone seeking calm, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality.

Beautiful hotel on a great beach for body surfing and walking. V peaceful.

Food choices were poor with mostly Sri Lankan food with too much coconut fat used. Towels were tired. Restaurant dining area was very dated and needs attention. Dogs on beach were annoying guests.
