Dimora Borghese “Florio”

The property was like staying in a palace! Absolutely beautiful, everything was sparkling clean and felt like better than a 5 star resort.

There was no couch.

I’m so grateful we chose this place for our stay in Palermo. We absolutely loved everything about it and would recommend it 100%. Massimo, who welcomed us, was fantastic. He met us at the entrance, handed us the keys, and took the time to show us around the apartment, explaining everything we needed to know – from the Wi-Fi and the included Netflix account to what was in the kitchen cupboards. The little touches, like the bottle of wine and water in the fridge, meant so much to us. Massimo also gave us great tips about the neighborhood, including nearby restaurants and grocery stores (one was 1 minute away from the apartment), and even sent us a helpful PDF with all the info we needed. Massimo was always available if we had any questions and was incredibly responsive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The apartment was exactly like the photos – super clean and so comfortable. The kitchen was modern and spacious, and the bedrooms were perfect. The master bedroom (queen bed), with its beautiful ceramic floor and ceiling, was especially stunning. The second bedroom had 2 simple beds. Each room had a big wooden closet. The bathroom was roomy too, especially the shower, which was much bigger than typical European ones. They even provided things like shampoo, conditioner, a blow dryer, extra toilet paper, and umbrellas for both the rain and the beach. The location couldn’t have been better. It was a pleasant 20-minute walk to Palermo’s historic center, which was a great way to explore the area, and there were bus stops nearby if needed. We also felt very safe in the area, even when walking back late at night, and never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! If I ever go back to Palermo, this apartment will be the first place I will look into to book again.

This apartment is awesome. I didn´t expect such huge rooms. It was spotless and had all the kitchen utensils. The host is a good person; he explained everything to us and gave some recommendations. I truly recommend this place

The apartment is very modern, clean and comfortable. It has everything what we needed. Close to it is the big supermarket where you can buy everything. I really recommend it.

In the bathroom wasn't a place for the towels. We had to keep them in the bedrooms.

Very comfy and nice apartment, 15 min walk from the modern center, some 30 min walk from the historic center. Apartment is equipped with everything needed. We had a very warm welcome, would definitely stay again if I visited Palermo.

Fantastic newly renovated apartment with tasteful decor throughout. TV in every room (incl. Netflix and Disney). Aircon in both bedrooms. Large shower with endless hot water. The checking in and out process was straightforward. Massimo who met us at the apartment was very friendly. He could become a Gianluigi Buffon double 😉 The location was very convenient for visiting all attractions. Approx. a 15 minute walk to the centre. Plenty of cafes and supermarkets in the close proximity. It is located on a busy road so there is some traffic noice but it wasn't a big issue for us. There is no allocated parking for the guests but on street parking is available free of charge. We highly recommend this apartment and if we ever return to Palermo we would book again without any hesitation.
