La dimora di Re Idomeneo

A wonderful room in a quiet, but very convenient part of the old town. Lillino and his wife took every care to make sure we had a lovely stay.

We loved our stay at La dimora di Re Idomeneo. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. The rooms are situated in an old and charming building in the historic city center of Lecce and are renovated with attention to detail and feeling for presevation of heritage. Rooms are well equipped and very clean. Coffee, tea, water and some other non alcoholic beverages are included in the price and available all the time. The location is very calm, absolutely no noise at night time. The host reserved us parking spot at the nearby parking area that costs around 10 euro per day. Parking was very close and convinient for us. Great stay all in all!

Only one mirror in the room which is placed so far away that is impossible to use if you do not see well. That is absolutely not convinient for getting ready. The first night when we arrive it was quite cold in the room but rooms have A/C so this was not an issue.

The accommodation was very clean and very comfortable. Very beautifully decorated. We had 2 rooms so we had exclusive use of the common area. There were lots of little thoughtful touches such as a charging station and line in the shower. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful whenever we contacted them.. They went out of their way, beyond expectation, to help us get help when we found out that Lecce station has no elevator. The location was excellent. Easy to get everywhere on foot.

The stairs were a bit of a struggle for someone with injuries. But the rest more than made up for it. However the host was there to greet us and helped with the baggage. There were no other negatives. Really great stay.

Ottima posizione subito fuori dal centro cittadino immediatamente fuori porta Napoli. Ottimo per raggiungere le maggiori attrazioni della zona.

Sehr charmante kleine Wohnung, frisch und italienisch renoviert. 2 private Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnraum mit Küchenzeile, wir hatten eines der beiden Zimmer. Perfekte Lage im historischen Zentrum. Sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber die uns halfen das Gepäck vom nahen Parkplatz zur Wohnung zu transportieren.

Die Unterkunft ist im Zentrum, d.h. Man kann mit dem Auto nicht direkt vor die Hausfahren.
