The apartment itself was excellent, very spacious, very clean and very well equipped.

It would have been better to have the listing mention that parking is offsite, a solid 8 minute walk with luggage away.

Delightful location right in the center of Gouda. And such a charming house! One thing to note: it's an old Dutch house, so access to the upper floors is by steep spiral stairs. This is not a complaint, just be aware that you'll have some climbing.

Just be aware that it's a typical Dutch property with lots of steep stairs. It was doable with one toddler who listens well, but if there are more younger children then it might get a bit stressful. But at least you're getting an authentic Dutch experience ;)
