Lovely modern room. Clean and spacious. Food was lovely

We booked a Superior King room. Our bed was only double. Kitchenette is stretching it a bit. All you get extra in the room is a toaster and a sink to do your own washing up No tea towel to dry hands No breakfast available on site so you're stuck with something toasted unless you go elsewhere.

Staff were lovely and sooo helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was great; spacious, quiet, big shower and a comfortable bed. Nicely decorated, and has everything you'd need for an extended stay.

Car parking isn't available on site but a couple of doors down the street. Not an issue but would have been nice to know where to go before we arrived. Please can you put some hooks next to the shower enclosure to save dripping across the floor to get to the towels on the rail?

The Red Lion has a very welcoming feel about it. The room we had was very comfortable and very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Everything was great

The room was really lovely and contemporary & seemed new. Shower, bed, mini kitchen were all fab.

Unfortunately 10/10 hotel let down by little things that matter when paying £125/ night. Like tea & coffee facilities with gold top milk in the fridge that had matured into yoghurt. Also, we knew the cost didn't include for breakfast but it wasn't available either. We had to drive to cafe next morning. A croissant or 2 in the fridge would have done nicely.

Everything about this room was perfect.

Great room at great price . Very good pub food . All delivered by a great team who could not do enough for you.

Street side parking . Which was ok but not optimum

Heating did not work so cold Jot of silly mistakes. Bathroom no where to put towels, rools, makeup bit very poor Great ideas but no common sense Sad nice couple
