The house was very comfortable and well maintained.

Excellent location and view. Most things we needed were provided. It was nice having games and a dvd player.

The hot water supply was poor and it was clear from the information booklet and other guest feedback that this has been ongoing. The mattresses were also very firm so not particularly comfortable.

Kitchen, very dirty cooking stuff, Glass baking disches er very dirty and also the baking pans. The solar system invertor make a lot off noise in the hall ( middle off the house ), it sounds like a plane that start the turbines. It wake you up early in the morning. Also the heating system ( boiler ) make a lot off noise, 24 our a day.

Super location. Well equipped. Comfortable.

It was all pretty good , double bedroom was fine for sleeping but there was very little space for luggage etc. Kitchen fine, but microwave defeated us !

I LOVED the location. Could not fault the views. Size of the Cottage was good. Good kitchen.

As an Australian who doesn't have this sort of heating, it took me a day and half to work out the heating. The cottage was freezing when I arrived. Luckily the bedroom heating was easiest to get going quickly. Hotwater was only avaialbe in the morning despite many attempts to use the booster function. Bathroom could do with an upgrade to mixer taps. Double bed was uncomfortable, could feel the spings and could do well with a mattress topper. I used the dooner doubled and used a single bed dooner as a cover. Also, it would be useful to know before arriving that doors lock by lifting the door handle - we don't have these type of doors where I live.

Location

The beds are extremely uncomfortable and makes the body sore. Hot water to fill the bath doesn't work.

We loved the views from the house. We liked that it was near the sea, and many things to do, eg Fossil museum, Flora McDonald's grave etc. as well as being 20 mins from Portree.

We had 2 cars with us, which made parking a bit of a challenge. Also the shower was hard to control. It was either boiling hot or freezing cold.

I particularly liked the quiet, private location and the outstanding views over Staffin Bay to the Quiraing.
