Trang An Ao Dai Homestay

Good place for long stays and also interestimg as manny guest are Vietnamies. They where hapoy to take care of our lougage amd us to stay for 3 hours in the evening until our train departyre

The family did a great job of making us feel welcome. The food they cooked for us was great. And the accommodations were nice. The beds are softer which is nice as a westerner not used to Vietnamese beds. Also all their pricing was very reasonable.

The room is quite large and equipped with almost everything you need for your stay. There's also a huge windows looking out to the rice field which is very nice. They also provide us motorcycle rental service so we can just rent there and drive around to visit the city of Ninh Binh effortlessly. The staff is nice and very helpful.

The AC cannot warm up the room completely as there is a lot of space to covered and it is not powerful enough to handle such load. You might feel cold during your sleep if you travel to Ninh Binh during winter period. The hot water is not guaranteed, we ran out of hot water while showering and it was not pleasant.

Price (420vnd) was convenient, room is spacious and bed is large and very comfortable. Girl at checking was friendly and helpful. We could sleep well.

I started to fill the bath and could reach 5cm before hot water ran off. Bath is useless, I couldn't even shower, but I guess it looks good on the pictures. We had breakfast included but the two women in the morning were not informed. Apparently there is no set breakfast, but told us to choose 1 toast each (cheapest options 30vnd) from the menu, no drinks included. It took 40' for them to prepare one toast and one "waffle", two coffees and 1 juice (very poor cooking) and they charged us for it 90vnd. Not clear what they charged. No bath and no breakfast, sleep and run away

The staff were super friendly and very attentive. We booked a motorbike with them and also they did offer laundry service. All very reasonable price.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful on booking tours, pre ordering taxis and organising bikes for us.

The cleanliness of the room wasn’t the greatest, but the lady did clean it again for us. The light in the hallway didn’t get turned off until after midnight, which with frosted doors kept us awake, and allowed lots of bugs to come into the hallway then into our room.
