Casa on Kei by Totalstay

Beautiful clean rooms, really appreciated the airconditioning, and fully equipped kitchen! would stay here again.

We requested a late check-in and got a message "what you requested cannot be arraged ahead of time" we phoned and the phone went through an automated answer and the property was not in the list.

Very friendly ladies at reception, the lady at reception was extremely helpful at check-out, assisted with Uber. She was amazing. Sincerely enjoyed our stay.

Avoid Casa on Kei: Cockroach-infested apartment

We had a deeply unpleasant experience at Casa on Kei on Sunday 3 May. The apartment had cockroaches: we spotted them within minutes of settling into the accommodation and notified the Reception team. They were unable to offer us an alternative apartment and refused to give us a refund! We left for a new hotel immediately with a bad taste in our mouths. To share more detail, my husband and I checked in to the apartment on 3 May, dropping our bags and immediately heading out to an event. When we returned that afternoon, we spotted and killed a cockroach in the kitchen/living room area. We took it to the lady at Reception and requested an alternative apartment. She made a comment that signalled this was an ongoing problem, and agreed she would try to find us another room. We returned about 20 minutes later. The lady at the front desk saw us returning and ran off as we visited Reception, handing over to another colleague instead of updating us. My husband and I immediately knew Casa on Kei weren’t going to handle this in a satisfactory manner. Casa on Kei were unable to provide an alternative room. We returned to the apartment and spotted several more cockroaches, and various unclean surfaces: debris on kitchen counters, hair and crumbs on the sofa, stains and food on the living room rug. After the cockroach sightings, we took our suitcases, reported it to Reception and requested a refund as we checked out. Casa on Kei refused to refund us, claiming that we would have to seek compensation from Booking.com. It lacks integrity for Casa on Kei to take our payment from Booking.com for a room we did not inhabit due to their pest control failure. Shame on you, Casa on Kei.
