As first time visitors to Sayulita, we did not really know a lot about the lay of the land. We could not have been happier with our choice. Mar Y Suenos was fantastic and exceeded our expectations in every way. Proximity to the beach was ideal. Loaner chairs, towels and umbrellas were greatly appreciated. The rooms were spotless. Distance from downtown was just right. Sabrina (the manager) was the best. Luna (the hotel cat) was a joy. Loved having the pool as an option for a quick cool down. The views and overall stay were top-notch. We would definitely like to return!

The roosters were quite loud. While the hotel supplied earplugs, we found that using a portable speaker with a white noise app solved the problem of the early birds. It was still fun to encounter the chickens on the walk to the beach.

Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Clean rooms and having a kitchen is great. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is a uphill walk, so using a golf cart for groceries helps.

The staff is amazing. Very friendly, responsive, and the community events that are also open to the public are awesome. All the other guests I met were friendly and respectful of others when coming home from an evening out.

For those who want to be right next to the scene, the location is perfect. With that, though, comes a lot of noise. During the day there was loud music playing across the street and you can hear the noise from the bars well into the early hours of the morning. I also would have liked more and varied common areas as well as options for more quiet and alone space to spend time that wasn't my bunk.

This place is basic but great. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean and comfy and has all the needed resources. It’s also a few blocks away from the hustle of town, so it’s quiet and private. We walked or rented a golf cart. We had issues with the AC one night and the desk attendant fixed it right away. The cleaning ladies did a load of laundry for us for a small tip. Would def stay here again.

The pool is the size of a tub, which was fine, cuz we were there for the beach.

Sabrina was really great and available for us. Antonio also and everyone that did our room daily. The place was very comfortable, cute, and away from the big festivities in the town.

We loved everything. There is only the coffee maker who broke but that's it. Everything was perfect otherwise.

The room and staff were superb & all of our needs were highly met.
