Mar y Sueños

Location was good- not too close to the center of things but not far either. Loved the colourful, clean, well equipped room. It has charm and character. The pools were kept very clean as well.

The signage at the entry of the lane to the hotel needs to be spruced up. It made me wonder what I had got ourselves into! But, we were very pleasantly surprised when we got to the actual hotel!

Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We loved our visits from the hotel cat Luna.

bed are a little to firm for my liking.

We loved that it was a small boutique hotel with a kitchenette, ocean view from our balcony, rooftop patios, swimming pool, very close to beaches, jungle trails, walking distance to everything, quiet, clean, friendly staff, unlimited water jugs in room, beach chairs, umbrellas & stunning sunset views! :)

Nothing. Everything was spectacular!

Our studio #5 was just what we wanted, large, comfortable, reasonable equipped and a small balcony with a view we loved. Although AC was available we only needed the ceiling fan and balcony doors open to stay comfortable. Thanks to the housekeepers for their maintenance at keeping everything clean and tidy. The location was quiet, even with the neighbouring roosters and loud Guinea hens. The pool, although small was warm and we used it every afternoon for a relaxing dip. A short walk down the hill, four blocks to the quieter part of the beach or same to multiple restaurants, mini grocery and shops and then short walk to town centre. Attentive manager/owner and staff made our weeks stay very enjoyable.

Not dislikes, but things we think should be noted. Wifi was on and off with week signal most of the time and only two english tv channels that had a subscription problem after several days. Be aware bed and pillows are firm like most places in Mexico(and elsewhere).Would not recommend for people with mobility problems due to hills, cobblestones and stairs
