We stayed for one week at James Place. We were satisfied with the apartment itself and had no complaints about it. Unfortunately, our experience with the owner was very negative. On the day of check-out, we had clearly agreed on a check-out time of 12:00. Despite this, the cleaning lady knocked on the door at 9:00 in the morning. She was very pushy and refused to wait, which forced us to leave in a hurry. This was a very unpleasant experience. We reported this to the owner. She apologized and promised us compensation equal to half a day. However, despite repeated requests, we never received any refund. At one point, the owner even sent a screenshot of a payment, but this turned out to be a transaction that was never completed. At last we just had to give up. We are half a year later now and the owner still didn’t refund us, despite our many attempts and despite het own promise to do so.
