Property Notes

The patio area outside our accommodations can be noisy during busy periods, this would be Friday and Saturday evenings, bank holiday weekends and holiday periods - particularly around Christmas. We do however try to clear this area completely within an hour of closing (12am) Please note that we are a busy and well supported pub in the town center of Oundle. We have regular live music events, which can be checked via our social media pages. During busy periods our outdoor areas can get quite noisy as well. Please make sure you take this into consideration when booking with us.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Comfortable overnight stop"

Conveniently placed, friendly, comfortable, good value.

The windows of my first floor room opened on to the open air bar area so it was loud until 11.30pm or so. Not a problem for me, and not unreasonable as this is a pub, but wouldn’t be good for anyone wanting an early night. Though I do know other rooms open onto quieter aspects.

great location and lovely staff. The room was spotlessly clean too.

Breakfast was a bit limited, some fruit would have been nice and the coffee machine wasn't working.

The location in town and value for money was great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't very well attended, but there was a great selection. I also had an evening meal which was great too.

I struggled a little to stay on the wifi, and when I woke in the night I could hear someone snoring in the room below, but perhaps they heard me too!
