"clean and comfortable but in need of a few tweaks."

Comfy bed, plenty of space, clean and quiet (church bells aside). Lovely view across the churchyard to the hills beyond. The pub food was okay and good value for money.

The shower fixtures needed some attention. Bad smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor coming up from the pub's utitlity area. The free parking turned out to be a hundred yards away, which wasn't ideal in the pouring rain. The access code on the outer door was useless in that it was on the inside, not the outside!

Beautiful ‘proper’ country pub hotel, centre of the community. Super friendly and welcoming owners. Just a great experience.
