I had to constantly look for the staff , have to call for someone to open the gate is not ideal

The room and bathroom was clean and tidy.

The shower head needs to be replaced and the room needs burglar bars.

The location was good - nothing else.

I booked 7 rooms for my committee members and not one of them was happy. One bed looked as though it had not had the sheets changed, another one looked as though someone had been laying on it - containers in the bathrooms were empty and not very clean and some of the rooms smelt damp and musty and not pleasant. Beds were uncomfortable. I have apologised to all of them for booking such a venue as had gone by the photographs which had looked impressive but obviously did not match the reality. They did say the outside looked nice but once inside the rooms is where the problem was. Also they had a problem checking in as whomever was on the reception did not have correct details for the travellers and spent a while on the phone with them sorting this out as she kept informing them there was no room for them. Most unsettling.

Great place to stay. Peaceful and friendly staff.
