S@fe Landing Lodge

Exceptional location! Only a few guests in the lodge, nearly private beach, hut was only 5 steps away from the beach, friendly and kind staff. Had a relaxing experience, just having the basics to live and enjoy this tropical paradise. You can book some activities there (cave trip, snorkeling trip, visit the village, hiking, ...), but bring cash and don't expect Wifi or shops. But the staff will bring you to a little supermarket on another island, if you need something. Please just don't expect a resort - it is basic, but it is absolutly worth it. Would come again!

Food was good and plenty, but not a lot of variation.

Location was so beautiful All staff were so kind and friendly - was a very family dynamic type of place It was such a traditional experience and couldn’t have had a better first two nights in Fiji We loved the coconut demonstrations and snorkelling trip to the blue lagoon Would recommend it for the people alone and the views are just extra

Breakfast was good (coffee/tea with fruit, cake and pancakes). Rooms are pretty big. The kids that live there are very friendly. Amazing views and beach.

I was expecting a bit more. My room was barely clean and needed maintenance, online photos seem a bit old. I guess it’s ok if you don’t mind a rustic place. Food was a bit repetitive (but quantity was ok). Staff seemed to lack interest in guests.

Breakfast variety was great. Location was what we wanted. No roads, no cars, only walking tracks. No internet. Lots of activities well organised.

Plumbing problems, but staff were quick to fix it.

Great location for seeing the caves! The staff were great and there was lots of great free activities to do!

I had the best time! If you want to experience the real Fiji (not the fancy resorts where you are just a number) but not ready for a homestay, this is a great place. Own by Fijians, they make you feel home. Perfect to see the caves and the blue lagoon. A special thank you to Sefo and Jo, who went an extra mile to welcome us, with a kava night with guitar in the background and taught us everything about coconut, from climbing the trees to making coconut milk. Also, the 2 kids Caroline and Tim were so cute to play with- and they are so clever! And the pets adopt you straight away!

The food was good but after 2 days, it felt like it was always the same. However, you dont have a mandatory meal plan, you can bring your own food and go buy at the small supermarket. And its also super cheap!
