The Hay Loft

It is in a fantastic setting with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside, the fact that there is a bar and restaurant so close is a game changer. Free parking in a well lit area that is close to the accommodation is always a winner. Immaculately clean, well stocked with tea and coffee and biscuits. Easy arrival and departure methods. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there.

I cannot honestly think of anything that could be changed, reviewed or bettered.

We liked the location. The property was well maintained and comfortable. We liked the electric heaters as we needed them.

The door lock was broken and difficult to lock and unlock. The owner knew about this but it did not get repaired whilst we were there. There is no facility to dry towels. No bathroom radiator or even an airer would help.

Everything! accommodation was perfect, very clean , modern and great layout. Ideal location to explore all coasts of Cornwall. So many places still to explore around here so will definitely be returning here.

The location is ideal for us as we visit friends in Coverack. The Hay Loft ticks all the boxes for us. It has everything we need for either a short or long stay. The restaurant is excellent and all the staff cant do enough for you. This is our second visit and wont be our last.

I've not staying in the area before but main road access wasn't far away and the road near the property was quiet overnight. I was greeted by the owner Barry who was very welcoming and showed me around but was just the correct balance of welcoming and not intrusive. The Hayloft was bright, clean and well equipped I had an exceptional stay over three days with a restaurant and bar downstairs providing great reasonably priced food, everyone I spoke to was friendly, helpful and pleasant, the bar again was used by the locals and everyone was nice and sociable to me. Great place to stay and when in the area I'II book here again. Many thanks Derek.

Not staying longer

Lovely view, quiet and comfortable. Clean and modern, good position.

Little jug of milk on arrival would have been nice, also there was no teatowel or teaspoons but I think this was just an oversight.

Well fitted out with lots of thoughtful touches. Generous shower cubicle and a comfortable home from home for us. Good WiFi too, which can be really tricky in other places around the area. A full kitchenette if you feel like cooking, but also really handy having the restaurant right next door too. The staff were really helpful and the fish was very fresh and well prepared. We also popped in for a cooked breakfast one morning, which was a nice treat.Although not right in Helston, it's literally just five minutes from town, and surprisingly quiet at night.
